Pioneers of multi-ethnic communication, capable of conveying messages in an international context,

Overview
Business Press is a member of the Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world’s leading network of independently owned public relations counseling firms with over 1,800 employees in some 100 offices in 133 cities worldwide, and a revenue of more than $183,2 million.

Established in 1988, it was formed so that the strongest, most capable independent PR firms could serve national, international and multinational clients while retaining the flexibility and client-service focus inherent in independent agencies. Through Worldcom PR Group, clients have on-demand access to in-depth communications expertise from professionals who understand the language, culture and customs of the geographic arenas in which they operate. In addition to Worldcom EMEA agencies, of which Business Press’ President, Diego Biasi is currently regional chairman, clients have access to Worldcom Americas and Worldcom Asia Pacific agencies.

Worldcom EMEA
Worldcom PR Group EMEA currently consists of 25 agencies with a strong expertise in consumer goods, food & beverage, healthcare, technology, finance and public affairs.

Thanks to a collaboration model that focuses on high quality and results, the Worldcom PR Group EMEA regional agencies today share a number of clients including Cotton Council International, Rockwell Automation, Palm, Allied Telesis, D-Link and the E.U. Anti-Tobacco Campaign.

In April 2006 Diego Biasi, president and managing director of Business Press was appointed chairman of the Worldcom EMEA region for a two-year term ending in 2008. Under Biasi’s leadership, Worldcom EMEA is spearheading a strategy of expansion into new emerging markets such as Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Europe is made up of many languages and many cultures. For this reason the Worldcom PR Group firmly believes that the “one flavour suits all” approach does not make sense as far as pan-European PR programmes are concerned. Working with Worldcom PR agencies means access to top-flight consulting paired with an in-depth local knowledge. This is why Worldcom EMEA is constantly focusing its effort to identify and attract the best independent agencies across the region that have already proven their value within their local markets.

Worldcom @ your service
Composed of PR and marketing communication agencies, some of which are generalist and others specialized in specific sectors, Worldcom provides Business Press’ clients with the opportunity to go international in terms of communications projects, while achieving economies-of-scale derived from a common work method shared by all Worldcom agencies.

The lead Worldcom agency, identified on the basis of characteristics such as specific expertise and geographical proximity to the Client’s headquarters, co-ordinates the activities of the network’s local agencies according to a ‘single-point’ model. This allows enhanced operation management and provides a single reporting and billing location. The Worldcom approach to international projects, defined as “global focus – local implementation”, ensures consistent messages combined with a proven ability in adjusting global communications strategies according to individual national realities.

Business Press shares with other Worldcom partners, multinational clients such as Rockwell Automation, Palm, Allied Telesis, Cotton Council International, Siemon, D-Link, and Raychem Circuit Protection. Past references include Foundry Networks, Kodak and LaCie. All these make up remarkably successful cases proving the advantages gained from collaborating with the Worldcom PR Group network.
